NAMIWalks,the signature walkathon event of the National Alliance on Mental Illness was held in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, CA on Saturday, May 30, 2015. This is NAMI Alameda County South's largest funding source and helps ensure the continuation of our programs and outreach.
NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is the largest education, support and advocacy organization that serves the needs of all whose lives are touched by these illnesses. This includes persons with mental illness, their families, friends, employers, the law enforcement community and policy makers. The NAMI organization is composed of approximately 1200 local affiliates, 50 state offices and a national office.
NAMI Alameda County South is a 501(c)3 charity and any donation you make to support our participation in this event is tax deductible.

NAMIWalks 2015 - Results
We had a great walk in Golden Gate Park on May 30, 2015. NAMI ACS net walk proceeds will be posted as soon as we get the totals in July. Thank you Team Captains,Teams, walkers and those who supported them.
As you know, our education programs are offered to participants at no cost to you. It is through your financial and volunteer support that we bring these much needed NAMI Programs to our community.
What's happening in NAMI Alameda County South?
It is an exciting time for NAMI ACS. Since the last Walk, we have more going on than ever. Some of the highlights of the past year:
